Exhibition Opening: Photographing the distance
The opening of Photographing the Distance by Matilde Marin will bring together exhibition,
dialogue and music in an evening that reflects on distance, memory, landscape and the sea.
The program will begin with an artist-led tour of the exhibition, offering guests direct insight into
the works and the artist’s practice. Following the tour, Matilde Marin will be in conversation
with Mona Khazindar in a panel reflecting on photography, travel, place and the poetic
relationship between image and memory. The evening will then move to the AlBunt Courtyard
for a special performance by Al Nour Wal Amal Orchestra, presented in light of the Museum’s
