Echoes of Distance: Music Recital
The Red Sea Museum will host an elegant classical music recital in the courtyard of Bab
AlBunt, creating an intimate evening where music, architecture and history come
together in the heart of Historic Jeddah. Set against the historic backdrop of Bab AlBunt,
the recital will present a curated selection of classical works by composers such as
Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and others whose music carries themes of emotion, memory
and longing.
Program:
The musical program will be curated around the theme of Distance, Memory and the Sea,
bringing together classical compositions that evoke journeys, longing, movement,
reflection and the emotional experience of looking across horizons. This theme creates a
poetic dialogue with Photographing the Distance and with Bab AlBunt’s history as a
gateway of arrival, departure and connection across the Sea.
